Most of my colleagues and friends are annoyed by the invasiveness/spyware and hyperactivity of QQ and would love a good alternative... 
 
Baidu is spendiing better than 10% of their total revenue on R&amp;D these days...I would not be surprised to see them take a good share of QQ in time... </description>
