Try typing “she invent” without the quotes at Google’s search box. We know that Google has its spell-check mechanism that automatically suggests a correct spelling as an alternative search query. But in the manner I did, there is a sexual switch from she to he. It’s not only the issue between she and he but also if we look at the word attached to it, it appears that women can’t create things (invent). I tried other verbs but it seems they are working fine with no alarm for women’s rights violation.
I guess this is just one of the proofs that machines aren’t supposed to take over humans, if not for tediousness and repetitive nature of work these machines do. I believe this is one minor glitch on Google’s algorithms and not meant to be sexist.
