iProspect Hong Kong Launch at Frites-Beer

Earlier today, I joined the team of Isobar, Carat, iProspect and fellow wwwins folks in the formal launching of iProspect Hong Kong at Frites-Beer, a cozy Belgian bar in Central.

The event was attended by clients, friends and media. I helped usher the visitors to the venue and by the time I returned to the bar with Ginny and Lisa, the room was full-house that I had to stand up during the presentation and open forum.

Nigel Morris, the Isobar CEO started the morning presentation with an input about the whole digital media realm and how search is tied into multifaceted marketing campaigns.

Fredrick Marckini, Prospect founder and Isobar’s Chief Global Search Officer gave a presentation and from a business standpoint, Benjamin Grubbs, Marketing Director at eBay Hong Kong shared some experiences integrating the whole SEO process with its business.

Also present was Barney Loehnis, Isobar’s Network Director for Asia-Pacific, who shared insights of search marketing within the region. He also emphasized the importance of tracking campaigns as essential in determining success of campaigns in this multilingual and multicultural environment.

I thought Patrick Stahle, CEO of Aegis Media Asia-Pacific did a brilliant job in moderating the forum where the audience fielded in questions as well as sharing from fellow speakers.

I believe this event should kick start a campaign to improve awareness of the benefits of search engine marketing in Hong Kong.
