Being the first on something has its advantages. First to blog about something means you get the credit for a brilliant idea or an eye opening question. First to discover a glitch on search results or glaring mistakes on Yahoo! Search Marketing features could get Yahoo! address the issue as influential/authority sites pick up the story and obviously you’re part of it.

On a larger scale, it is equivalent to financial bonanza. Just ask Friendster, Blogger or YouTube, on being among the first to introduce their type of products.

I am not sure if this is the first search engine marketing commercial to appear on TV but somehow the campaign gets some press coverage by Search Engine Roundtable and Search Engine Watch forums. Video courtesy of YouTube.
